Robert Juckniess

Robert Juckniess joined Migizi in 2016. He previously owned and operated his own business for 25 years and brings with him experience in many different fields such as healthcare, retail, gasoline, convenience stores, car washes, fast food, commercial real estate, management companies, and more. Robert has shown to be an award-winning executive leader with deep experience in driving exponential growth and profitability by developing and communicating a clear strategic vision, exemplary execution and continuous improvement. Robert received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management in finance, marketing and international business.

Marcy Malson

A graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting, Marcy has spent the last 17 years as an accountant with a local manufacturing company. A resident of Harrison Michigan, she resides with her husband and two children. Marcy joined Migizi EDC as Controller in May of 2017 and reports directly to the Migizi EDC board of directors with oversight of all finance and accounting operations for the organization.

Kevin Humphreys joined Migizi EDC at the beginning of 2017. He brings with him 16 years of Human Resources experience in addition to a background in business operations in various settings including manufacturing, retail, and theme park operations. Kevin is a military veteran having served two years as a Military Police Officer in the US Army. He holds an undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Kevin resides in Farwell with his wife and three children.

Tonia Kequom

Tonia Kequom began employment with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe in 2005, joining the Migizi EDC team in 2008. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University holding a Bachelor of Arts, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. In 2012 Tonia obtained her Real Estate Salesperson License. She is responsible for the Residential Property, Commercial Properties and Farm Land Leasing.

Ethan Rotz
Construction Project Manager ERotz@sagchip.org

Ethan joined our Migizi EDC team in 2018, and brings with him five years of Project Management experience, three with a General Contractor in commercial construction. Ethan graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, and resides in the city of Mount Pleasant. His experience includes AutoCAD design development, estimating, and project management along with experience in safety, business development, organizational leadership, and project-based cost accounting.

Theresa Teeter

Theresa has worked for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe since 2004. She joined the Migizi Corporate team in 2012 overseeing multiple retail businesses in several different industries including gas & convenience, pharmacy, gift shop, sporting goods, and a marina. Theresa is a graduate from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Theresa graduated with her Master's in Business Administration from the DeVos Graduate School at Northwood University in the Spring of 2016.

Fritz Kuhlman

Fredrick Kuhlman came back to Mid-Michigan from Nashville, Tennessee after a career in the music industry where he served as the National Director of Promotion for a division of Warner Brothers Records and Curb Records. Having led efforts of 14 chart topping songs and two Country Music Association Albums of the Year, Kuhlman played roles in launching the careers of Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, LeAnn Rimes and Rodney Atkins among others. He holds a Master of Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management.
He resides in Mt. Pleasant with his three children and has worked for the tribe since 2014 as the Marketing Manager for Migizi Economic Development Company.

Brian Smith

Brian Smith returned to the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe in January 2016 as the Economic Development Director after managing two local governments for ten years. Prior to that, Brian worked for the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort for over sixteen years. Brian received both his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University.
